Sabrina Stratton

Sabrina Stratton currently serves as the Chair of the Board, a position she has held since September 2023. Sabrina was first elected to the Board in 2019 and quickly took on increasing responsibilities, becoming Secretary in 2020 and Treasurer in 2021. Sabrina Stratton is a Senior Vice President, Northeast Regional Director at Amalgamated Bank. In this role, Sabrina is responsible for the leadership and management of the commercial bank in the Northeast Region. In her previous role as the Regional Director, Sabrina served as First Vice President, Commercial Banking, managing $1 billion in client assets and providing guidance for effective liquidity management.

Prior to joining Amalgamated Bank, Sabrina took on roles of increasing responsibility at Wachovia Bank (acquired byWells Fargo), SunTrust Bank, Arvest, and JP Morgan Chase. Sabrina holds a BSBA (Accounting) from Old Dominion University and is a Master of Science in Accountancy candidate. She has served as Amalgamated Bank’s head of the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color employee resource group. In addition to her leadership positions at Women Creating Change, Sabrina is also on the board of the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone.
