The Abortion Positivity Project’s CEO Sophie Nir will share her work to create a world free of abortion stigma, where abortion is accessible to all in a safe and supportive environment.
NYS Assemblymember Amy Paulin will discuss legislation she has introduced to expand New Yorkers’ access to abortion medication. Her bill would expand abortion access by allowing pharmacists to dispense non-patient specific abortion medication, eliminating the need for an additional trip to the doctor’s office. The bill would further reduce costs for patients by requiring insurance policies to cover the cost of abortion medication.
