International Women’s Day on The Plaza on NBC’s Today Show

WCC proudly celebrated International Women’s Day on The Plaza along with many inspiring advocates—including model and activist Karlie Kloss.

Helen Diana (“Heidi”) Reavis, Esq. (Chair, WCC) and Carole Wacey (President & CEO, WCC) were interviewed by TODAY Show’s Kevin Schatell on the importance of women’s civic engagement to promote greater social justice. WCC is working to improve the lives of New York City women—expanding opportunities for civic engagement and ensuring women have a seat at the table will go a long way towards achieving gender equality.
