Please join WCC for virtual Table Talk with or an engaging conversation with Dr. Sarah Sayeed moderated by G. Angela Henry. Dr. Sayeed has been dedicated to building an inclusive public square for almost two decades, and she is the Chair & Executive Director of the NYC Civic Engagement Commission. Established by ballot referendum in November 2018, the Commission is responsible for promoting civic trust and strengthening democracy across the city. The Commission’s work includes establishing a citywide participatory budgeting program, providing language interpretation services at poll sites, and supporting the technical and language access needs of community boards.
