The People’s Money: Participatory Budgeting Ideas Generation Session for Manhattan

The LWVNYC and Women Creating Change invite you to a virtual Idea Generation session for Citywide Participatory Budgeting. Help identify your community’s needs and brainstorm ideas for Manhattan projects for The People’s Money.

This year, NYC is expanding the popular local Participatory Budgeting initiative and allowing community members across the city to vote on how to spend a designated part of the City budget in each borough.

This 90 minute session over zoom will include icebreakers and exercises to prioritize where YOU think “The People’s Money” should be spent and will come up with ideas to be considered and voted on by all New Yorkers, aged 11+.
