Ekta Sahni, currently serving as the Treasurer of the Board, has held this position since her re-election for a second term in September 2023. She has previously served as an Interim Vice Chair of the Board from July 2022 to April 2023.

Ekta Sahni was elected to the WCC Board of Directors on August 5, 2020. She is the Managing Director of Data Management at JP Morgan Chase & Co. where she manages its data share and use strategy. This includes building the operating model, strategic partnerships, staffing and executing on priorities. Ekta has spent close to 25 years in the financial industry specializing in executive management, management consulting, and project management. She has held progressively senior roles globally building large scale operations, streamlining technology, costs and building value propositions. Ekta has an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut School of Business and a master’s degree in Business/Managerial Economics for the Delhi School of Economics.

Ekta is a skilled senior executive in finance who has a unique strategic mindset equipped with the execution and operation ability to develop vision, plan and operationalize. She possesses a strong work ethic and a natural affinity for cultivating relationships. In a prior role, Ekta led teams to successfully build organizational strategies from scratch. She previously held positions at Chase, Synchrony Financial, GE Capital, and Genpact. Ekta is excited by the opportunity to empower women through her work at Women Creating Change. Ekta resides with her husband, 2 girls and dog in Westchester, NY.
