Angie Kamath
Angie Kamath was elected to the WCC board in September 2023. With a career defined by leadership in higher education, she currently serves as the Dean at NYU School of Professional Studies. In her role, Angie oversees a thriving school of professional education, offering a wide variety of programs to over 5,000 degree-seeking students and 10,000 continuing education students. Under her leadership, NYU SPS is a recognized national and global leader in fields such as sports management, hospitality, real estate, publishing, global affairs, and functional business leadership.
Prior to her current role, Angie held the position of University Dean at the City University of New York (CUNY) for over 4 years. During her time at CUNY, Angie worked closely with a network of 24 community and senior colleges, spearheading initiatives to support, implement, and manage programs aimed at providing applied learning, internships, and full-time employment opportunities for both degree and non-degree students. These programs were instrumental in key industries such as IT and healthcare.
She holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in Business Management, establishing her foundation in business, and her MPP in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
