Tracey-Lee Brown

Tracey Lee Brown is a Director in PwC’s Governance Insights Center, which strives to strengthen the connection between directors, executive teams and investors by helping them navigate the evolving governance landscape. She was elected to WCC’s Board of Directors in November 2020.

With more than 10 years of experience at PwC, Tracey brings experience in technical accounting, SEC and financial reporting.

She advises boards and committee members on a variety of governance related issues, and contributes to thought leadership focused on topics including environmental, social, and governance (ESG), audit committee oversight, and risk oversight.

Tracey initially started with our PwC South Africa firm in 2007 and transferred to the PwC New York office in 2012. She is a Certified Public Accountant (licensed in New York), as well as a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. She holds an Honors Bachelor of Accounting Science degree from the University of South Africa. Tracey lives in New York with her husband and son.
