Tracey Salmon-Smith
Tracey Salmon-Smith joined the WCC Board of Directors in 2019. Currently, she is a partner at Faegre Drinker, specializing in commercial disputes, employment litigation, securities law, and internal investigations. With a particular emphasis on securities, Tracey represents broker-dealers in FINRA arbitrations and mediations, tackling fraud, misrepresentation, unsuitability allegations, and handling expungement proceedings.
Previously, Tracey was a principal of Bressler, Amery & Ross, where she defended corporate clients in a diverse array of litigation matters. With a specialized focus on employment, securities, premises liability, and commercial litigation, Tracey adeptly represented clients in both state and federal courts across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
As the former Associate General Counsel at UBS Financial Services Inc., Tracey successfully defended the firm and its brokers in FINRA arbitration cases involving securities misrepresentation, suitability, churning, diversification, and over-concentration. She adeptly managed outside counsel and played a key role as a member of the e-Discovery Working Group. Tracey’s previous career was primarily in the legal industry, where she held various positions of significance. She served as an Associate at Rivkin Radler & Kremer, an Assistant US Attorney at the United States Attorney’s Office, and held the position of Of Counsel at Sills Cummis.
Tracey received her Bachelor in Arts in English from Dartmouth College and her JD from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
