Janine Scott
Janine Scott, a dedicated and experienced professional, joined the board of WCC Board in September 2023, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and passion for empowering women. She has more than 10 years of experience coordinating, planning and supporting daily operational and administrative functions.
Currently serving as the Operations Manager at York College of the City University of New York, Janine plays a pivotal role in the smooth operation of the institution. In this role, she brings a data-driven, strategic approach to her work, managing office operations and supporting the executive team to maximize the activity of the development team. She excels in making and implementing recommendations that improve department policies and procedures, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the institution. Her six-year journey at York College began as the Advising and Operations Specialist. Janine’s extensive tenure reflects her commitment to the institution and her unwavering dedication to education.
Janine earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from St. John’s University, and her commitment to academia led her to pursue a master’s degree in criminology and justice, also from St. John’s University.
