The 2020 Census determines the distribution of over $800 billion in funding for public programs such as funding for schools, hospitals, roads, and more. It is imperative that we encourage our community, especially our fellow women to complete the 2020 Census. Women experiencing poverty and homelessness, and survivors of domestic violence are examples of populations historically missed in the Census. Join us on June 16th to learn how you can help.
In collaboration with Census Counts, NY Counts 2020, and the League of Women Voters NYC, WCC is proud to present a Census Ambassador Training session, led by Census Counts. Participants will learn how to communicate the importance of the census and how to engage their networks.
We need you to motivate those that matter most to you, your friends, your neighbors, and your family members to complete the 2020 Census and be counted. Because the census counts and so do you!
