Women Creating Change Joined the New York Nonprofit sector and signed on to open letters calling for support for NYC communities:

• Open Letter to the City: Center Black and People of Color Led Organizations in Reallocating Policing Funds.
• Fund Social Services, Not the NYPD.
• Open Letter to Our Government Leaders from New York City’s Nonprofit Sector in Response to COVID-19
• Nonprofits’ Letter to New York City Council.

Many New York City nonprofits are serving on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic. And organizations like WCC are committed to continuing important work during the crisis.

We urge all nonprofit professionals to join us and demand greater accountability and support for the Nonprofit sector.

WCC is inspired by nonprofit organizations that are continuing their work amid the COVID-19  crisis, particularly those on the front lines helping vulnerable New Yorkers.
