WCC Joins NY1 to Discuss Women’s Voting Trends in NYC
(NEW YORK, N.Y.)—Women Creating Change (WCC) released the statement below following WCC President & CEO Sharon Sewell-Fairman's interview with NY1.
WCC President & CEO, Sharon-Sewell-Fairman and League Of Women Voters NYC Co-President Kai-Rosenthal sat down with Cheryl Wills of NY1 to discuss women and voting in New York, in light of the upcoming election.
Citing WCC’s research reports, Sharon shared data on women’s voting trends and barriers that women—particularly those experiencing economic hardship—face in getting to the polls.
