Individuals concerned about our City and State, who want to channel their civic concerns into positive action, belong in the Women’s City Club of New York. Here they find kindred spirits who band together, making their mark on public policy through effective, informed advocacy. When you join WCC, you’ll be part of a civic organization whose early members, such as Eleanor Roosevelt, were prominent forces in American history and whose current members are known to public officials as “reasoned citizen-advocates who know the way to City Hall.”

Membership in WCC offers hands-on experience in public policy:

  • Free admission to twice-monthly public programs on current civic issues
  • Access to issue experts and elected and public officials
  • Opportunities to join committees that research key issues and formulate positions on the environment, health care, public schools, affordable housing, reproductive justice and government reform, to name but a few
  • Networking and mentoring with knowledgeable members
  • Blogging about our key issues of concern
  • Free subscriptions to our quarterly Agenda, monthly Calendar and members’ Bulletin
  • Action-alert emails on current and emerging policy and legislative issues
  • Access to archival material on recent programs, press releases, advocacy letters, testimony, reports and policy positions

Each member decides how much time and effort she can give. WCC offers you a voice in what matters to you, and your voice will strengthen ours as we work to promote policies of fairness, equity and inclusion for all New Yorkers.
