Championing Civic Engagement & Reproductive Justice Together.
The New York Liberty and Women Creating Change unite to inspire civic action and advance reproductive justice. Our partnership with the New York Liberty—defending Commissioner’s Cup champions and fervent advocates for reproductive justice—underscores the critical connection between reproductive rights and civic participation, including voting.

Join us and the New York Liberty in person and online as we amplify women’s voices. Our partnership tips off on June 2 at 7PM at the Commissioner’s Cup Tournament at Barclays Center. Get updates and a chance to win free NY Liberty Swag.
WCC’s partnership with the New York Liberty goes beyond the generous donation it will make to WCC as their Commissioner’s Cup partner to bolster our mission of advancing gender and racial equity. It extends to numerous opportunities over the next year for the WCC community to work with the New York Liberty to shine a light on what reproductive justice means for all New Yorkers, centering women of color, low-income women and LGBTQIA+ people.
We’ve been playing ball on the issue of women’s health since 1915.
Women Creating Change (WCC) has a proud history of championing women’s agency over their reproductive health, dating back over 100 years to our founding of the nation’s first maternity clinic. WCC’s partnership with the New York Liberty will extend to numerous opportunities over the next year for us to shine a light on what reproductive justice means for all New Yorkers, centering women of color, low-income women, and LGBTQIA+ people.
The ball is in your court.

About
About Women Creating Change
Women Creating Change (WCC), formerly known as the Women’s City Club of New York, is a nonprofit, nonpartisan activist organization dedicated to advancing women’s rights and shaping the future of New York City. Founded in 1915, WCC works to advance gender and racial equality by equipping women of color, women experiencing financial hardship, and gender-expansive individuals, with the knowledge, tools, and resources to advocate for the issues that matter most to them. WCC collaborates with partners, policymakers, and advocacy groups to drive real change in economic opportunity, education, healthcare, safety, reproductive justice, and environmental justice. WCC connects women with key stakeholders to learn, act, and engage. We empower women to lead change, shape policy, and strengthen communities, redesigning systems for a more equitable New York City. At WCC, we believe every woman has the power to make a difference. Visit wccny.org.
