WCC hosted a virtual training focused on developing one’s facilitation and leadership skills. Led by Deneisha Thompson, participants learned how to create a safe environment for their audiences and how to maintain their engagement while teaching a curriculum.

In a partnership event with the New York City Council Women’s Caucus, WCC held a virtual panel discussing the intersection of care, gender, and civic engagement within NYC women leaders.

The event featured Councilmember Mercedes Narcisse, Reverend Sharon White-Harrigan, and Brianna Cea as they shared ways on how to make a difference in one’s community.

Following a sneak preview of a documentary featuring Belle Moskowitz, guests were treated to a delightful fireside chat during which Senator Krueger, an elected official with more than 20 years of service under her belt, and Commissioner Noel, a career civil servant, shared a bit about their personal journeys and offered advice to attendees.
