November 18 – Tour: Revolution at the New-York Historical Society September 26th, 2011

After a three year renovation, the New-York Historical Society is re-opening with a brand new Gallery of American History and exciting new exhibits. The highlight of our docent led tour will be New York Rising, a depiction of New York’s critical contribution to the founding of the United States, its role in the American Revolution, and as the nation’s first political capital and later its financial, cultural, manufacturing and business center. After the tour, stay for a Dutch treat lunch at the museum’s new Italian themed restaurant.  Please register for the lunch here.
