After a three year renovation, the New-York Historical Society is re-opening with a brand new Gallery of American History and exciting new exhibits. The highlight of our docent led tour will be New York Rising, a depiction of New York’s critical contribution to the founding of the United States, its role in the American Revolution, and as the nation’s first political capital and later its financial, cultural, manufacturing and business center.
