The Poverty Issues Committee hosts Liz Accles, Senior Policy Analyst at the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies, who will discuss the impact of changes in the federal assistance program TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) as well as the problems in New York surrounding the increase and misuse of sanctions against those on welfare.
